Georges Malleroni Clinic April-May 2019

Twice a year, Georges Malleroni travels to Vancouver Island to teach 10 days of lessons to new and returning students. Many of his local students have also trained with him in Portugal, where he hosts and teaches riders from around the world at Escola de Equitaçao de Alcainça.

Indigo Equestrian Centre strives to emulate the immersive experience of training with Georges in Portugal by offering his clinics as “all inclusive”. Multiple day packages, including homemade lunches with Georges and auditing other lessons, gives participants a unique full-day experience with their own horse. Indigo is conveniently located across the street from the beautiful Kingfisher Oceanside Resort and Spa, and is a short drive from many hotel and accommodation options in the Comox Valley.

About Georges

Georges Malleroni followed the tracks of the Classical Equitation to Spain and later to Portugal where he met the great Master Nuno Oliveira, José Athayde and the Lusitano horse breed. Inspired by the Great Master and the Lusitano, he took over the technical direction of Escola de Equitaçao de Alcainça 30 years ago. Georges has a keen assessment ability of both horse and rider, and is able to help riders resolve problems quickly and efficiently. The popular clinics focus on teaching students in the art of ancient classical dressage techniques, and combining a modern bio-mechanical perspective. Lessons are designed to be progressive, and Georges works with the rider to achieve their individual goals. Patient and astute, Georges teaches riders of all levels.
